Unique Stories of Forever Love in New Worlds and Dimensions

 Welcome to the website of
Romance Author Belinda Palmer

Website stats show that everyday, readers google my name and previously published works. My previously published works are currently on the shelf for now while I'm working on manuscripts bound for NY pubs. A dear friend has hounded me for years - 'You're ready for NY', 'Try writing to guidelines, you're ready'. Bless her soul, I finally decided to listen and must say the manuscripts turned out well. While I found writing stories on command and measured by a specific word count and content surprisingly easy, I still enjoy writing my normal plus-length novel with my usual unconventional style.

My older series will be back, with new volumes added on, at some point. For right now, I also have a couple books contracted and the first, a sizzling romance, will be released this fall under a pen name.

I worked years to compile my writing, marketing, and promotion pages and have hundreds of visitors every month to this site. For this reason alone, I will keep this website active and continue to add to them to help authors get ahead in this tough industry.

On the homefront, despite feeling a little bizarre for intruding on their privacy, I've approached people in my local area and offered a business card that reads 'I want your face - for a bookcover'. On the other side of the card is this web address. If you got one, know that some publishers allow me input on the covers, including submitting artwork or photos. The shyness I've gotten from those I've asked surprises me. But I suppose I can understand, to a point. I feel all sorts of nervous and ridiculous when I ask someone, but braving my feelings and doing it anyway is the courageous thing to do. I'd rather ask and fail than to regret not having bothered to ask. Besides, I'm positive there's a little ham in everyone.
When I have approached people, I've wished every time that I had a camera anchored on my forehead. Some of the looks have been priceless. lol. Although, maybe I shouldn't laugh. The last guy I asked acted like I was bothering him.

B
elinda Palmer may be gone as an author, but I'm still alive and well, believe me.
